Criminal & Family Law

Alison joined Blodgett, Watts, Volk & Sussman, P.C. in early 2011. She focuses her practice primarily on criminal and family law matters.

After growing up in Connecticut, Alison came to Vermont to study at the University of Vermont and has called it home ever since. While attending Vermont Law School, Alison was involved with the South Royalton Legal Clinic and chosen for membership in the Vermont Legal Research Group. Alison also gained experience interning and working in many different Burlington law firms, assisting with a variety of legal matters. Her volunteer efforts include legal counsel for local refugees through the Vermont Refugee Resettlement Program, copy editor of the Hinesburg Record, and advisor for the local chapter of a University of Vermont organization.

Alison lives in Hinesburg with her husband and their family of pets. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, gardening, and listening to music. Alison is a member of the Vermont Bar Association, the Vermont Association for Justice, and the American Bar Association and is admitted to practice law in Vermont state and federal courts.
